Kent ISD’s Talk & Tour Series is a monthly career exploration program designed to increase awareness of diverse careers available in high demand career sectors.

This month's Talk & Tour host is:
Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts

Did you know that West Michigan is a great place to create a career rooted in creativity and design? Our history is rich in the way of designers and companies that have shaped whole industries. Join us during West Michigan Design Week 2017 to learn about some of the vibrant career paths in this industry.

Through an informal "talk show style" format, you will hear directly from a variety of professionals as they share the 'inside scoop' on careers in Design fields. Featured occupations include:

Graphic Design
User Experience Design
Interior Design
Industrial Design
and others!

This is your chance to get invaluable career information and ask professionals your questions! A tour of the the West Michigan Design Week exhibit Look Behind Design: A Process Gallery will be included.

Students and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend.
Light refreshments will be served.
Parking on street or in nearby city parking lots.
