DisArt, KCAD Prof. Lee Davis, and KCAD interior design students will discuss the philosophies of disability and design and their application in planning the DisArt Process and Presence International Conference scheduled for October 2018. Presenters will share insight about the limitations of the Americans with Disabilities Act as it relates to participation levels of Disabled people in our community, universal design standards, furniture design and selection, and theories of access and inclusion.
