Rebellion is Love is Transformation is Love is Rebellion: Virtual Lecture with Artist and Scholar Naima Lowe
Naima Lowe’s artistic output has spanned documentary video, performance, installation, painting, and writing. She’s also worked passionately as an arts educator, engaging students in various settings from community centers to college classrooms. Naima has maintained a commitment to collaboration across all of these modes as a pragmatic and freedom dreaming methodology. In this lecture, Naima will draw connections between her creative work and her teaching practice, her abstract art and abolition movements, and the powerful love embedded in acts of rebellion.
